Ep 63: A Primer on Physical and Career Wellbeing
Physical Wellbeing might be one of the first things we think of when we hear “wellbeing”. But we rarely think about Career Wellbeing … sure we spend a lot of time thinking about our careers, just not necessarily as an aspect of wellbeing. It’s not uncommon to simply accept whatever Career lot we’ve been given. Yet, our wellbeing can be dramatically impacted by both our physical health and career. This week Mike Krause, Dr. Helena Fowler, DCN and Jamie A Watson, LMFT, RPT-S dig into both Physical Wellbeing and Career Wellbeing. We cover a lot of ground for a primer!
In the Episode:
🎧 What exactly we mean when refer to physical wellbeing; how and why we should challenge how we define physical and career wellbeing
🎧 How physical wellbeing affects daily energy levels
🎧 Small, powerful choices that make a difference in physical wellbeing
🎧 Can we become addicted to work?
🎧 How to recognize when our wellbeing is imbalanced and how imbalances in one area can impact multiple or all of the other primary aspects of wellbeing (social, community, financial and spiritual)
🎧 When career ambition overshadows other aspects of wellbeing
